What Funko lines do you collect? How many pieces are in your collection?
I mainly collect Funko Pop! but I also have a few Dorbz and a bunch of Mystery Minis. My total number of Funko Pop!s is about 280.
How long have you been a collector?
About 2.5 years.
What are your favorite fandoms?
My favorite fandoms are Overwatch, Marvel, The Walking Dead, and Gremlins!
What was your first Funko item?
Bart Simpson Pop!
What is your favorite Funko piece in your collection?
I have two favorites in my collection, my Freddy Funko Ace Ventura, and my SDCC metallic Martian from Mars Attacks!
Tell us your favorite Funko story!
I started collecting bobble heads when I was young, I collected every bobble head I could get my hands on. My favorite show at the time was The Simpsons, so my collection consisted mainly of Simpsons Wacky Wobblers. I started slowing down on collecting bobble heads and got into collecting Mystery Minis, but I decided to just stick with Pop! figures (I had a few at the time). My collection of Pop!s grew over the years, and today I have over 280 Pop!s, and even more other Funko collectibles in my collection. My favorite part of collecting is the rarity of some Pop!s that you need to complete a set, and that chase can be difficult, but very rewarding too. Another thing that I enjoy about being a collector of figures across many different fandoms is knowing and remembering names of characters, and things about them because I have a Pop! of them! I have had so much fun collecting Funko figures, and interacting with the community through forums, social media, and real life events. My dream is to one year make it to an official Funko event, or convention, to meet some staff and thank them for all they have done to make my experience so wonderful! I really enjoy collecting Pop!s because of the variety of characters from so many different franchises. I am so glad some of my favorite movies have lines of Pop! and other Funko figures, and I can't wait to see more.
