What Funko lines do you collect? How many pieces are in your collection?

A little bit of everything. I collect Marvel, Star Wars, DC, Gravity Falls, Doctor Who, Yo Gabba Gabba, and anything that catches my interest. Don't tell my wife, but our family's collection is well over 200. Probably approaching 300.

How long have you been a collector?

11 years!

What are your favorite fandoms?

Comics, Gravity Falls and Star Wars

What was your first Funko item?

Captain America Pop! that was given to me from my work Secret Santa. Took me down the rabbit hole!

What is your favorite Funko piece in your collection?

It changes weekly, but currently it is the Life Size Groot.

Tell us your favorite Funko story!

I started collecting in 2006 when a co-worker gifted me a Captain America Pop! I immediately was attracted to the line and added some other Avengers that year. I was a casual collector for a few years, but that all changed when I attended Fundays in 2014. Once I was fully immersed in the Funko culture I knew it was something special. At this point I had both of my kids on board (Henry and Zelda), but my wife wasn't sold on having bobble heads all over the house. It has been a bit of work, but Pop!s are starting to show up on various shelves in the house as more lines that are of interest to her have been developed. Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and Gravity Falls have opened her eyes to the glory of Funko! My wife is a big Disney World fan and the Disney Treasures box has become something that our family looks forward to and something that we all open together and share that experience. It has us excited for future Disney adventures and we love how having Funko slowly taking our house reminds us to slow down and have fun.
