What Funko lines do you collect? How many pieces are in your collection?
I mainly collect Dorbz, Pop!s, and Wacky Wobblers, but also have some Pint Size Heroes, Mystery Minis, Spastik Plastik and even a TMNT Boxos set. I have around 700 pieces in my collection and it's growing quickly.
How long have you been a collector?
I've been a collector for about 2 years.
What are your favorite fandoms?
TMNT, Game of Thrones, Animation (any and all cartoons), and old school video games are my favorite fandoms as of now. I've been loving all the 90's nostalgia Pop!s and Dorbz that have been coming out!
What was your first Funko item?
Leonardo Pop! was my very first Funko item.
What is your favorite Funko piece in your collection?
My favorite piece in my collection would have to be the Robot Devil with Violin from SDCC 2015. That was the first year I made it into the Funko booth and that really jump started my collecting. When I got to the front of the booth the person helping me said they only had one Robot Devil left, but the box was severely damaged. I told her I didn't care about the box and she threw him in my bag. Ever since then I've been an out of box collector and haven't looked back.
Tell us your favorite Funko story!
My favorite Funko story is about my first Dorbz and how I found the Funko Funatic forum. Yoko and Cameron were guests on a YouTube show promoting SDCC last year and I randomly stumbled upon the stream. They were giving away the Civil War Marvel Collector Corps box and at the end of the stream I was picked as the winner! A couple weeks later I received the box and inside was the unmasked Iron Man Dorbz. I had never seen a Dorbz up close and I was absolutely blown away. To this day he is still one of my favorite Dorbz and I'm close to the 350 mark. I remember Yoko and Cameron mentioning the Funko Funatic forum so I signed up later that week and have been hooked ever since. The community is one giant family and I have met some amazing friends over the last year. If you are not a member I'd highly recommend joining in on the fun!
