When and how did you first learn about Funko (include your first Funko piece in your collection)?

"It was during the hype of Game of Thrones that I first learned about Funko and bought my first ever Pop! which was Jon Snow way back 2016. I then discovered the entire line of Iron Man Funko Pops! which really got me hooked into collecting. It was the thrill of hunting hard to find Pops!, especially the exclusive ones, that really gets me going. From a few Pops!, my collection then grew into a variety of my favorite Marvel superheroes, TV series characters, childhood nostalgia, and Pops! that I find cute to take a photo of."

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"The main line of my collection is Marvel Superheroes but I just focus on my favorites. I collect mostly Iron Man because he is my favorite superhero since I was kid. I also collect Doctor Strange, Loki, and Spider-Man. My secondary line is focused on my favorite TV series like FRIENDS, Grey's Anatomy, and The Big Bang Theory. I collect Pokémon characters as well since I was so into Pokémon way back in the days and it brings so much nostalgia.
Aside from Pops!, I also have some Dorbz, Minis, those cutesy little Pint Size Heroes, Pins, and Patches in my collection. I am also starting to build up my Funko SODA collection. Uncanning SODA figures is way refreshing!"

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"I love the Funko community. The people are awesome and very helpful. I also super love the monthly photo challenges! It serves as a creative forum for me and keeps my creative energy flowing! It is always nice to see other collectors' photo entries/collections. It is so fun to interact with people from all over the world who share the same passion in collecting and I always applaud other Funatics' creativity. The Funko community is truly talented in so many ways.

My favorite Funko memory was my first Photo A Day Challenge win. With so many amazing entries from awesome Funatics, it was unexpected and I was really so excited that time! Another favorite Funko memory of mine was attending my first Funko Funatic Philippines Christmas Party last 2017. I was only a newbie collector that time and being an introvert, it was a whole new experience for me. I enjoyed meeting fellow Filipino collectors and winning some prizes from the fun games. Hopefully, after this pandemic is over, I could also get to attend international Funko events and conventions."

When and how did you first learn about Funko?

"I first learned about Funko in 2017. I was just browsing at Target when I bought my first Pop! Aquaman and Pop! Tee of Star-Lord; as soon as I got home I started looking online to see what else was available, and I just went down the rabbit hole. I thought I was just gonna get a few (famous last words…) and I just fell in love with collecting and the community of collectors."

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"My collection consist of mostly Pops! and a growing batch of Funko SODA figures, Mystery Minis, and Funkoverse Games.

My favorite fandoms are Marvel, DC, Avatar: The Last Air Bender, The Legend of Korra, Ad Icons, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, the Freddy Funko line, and many more."

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"I love that there are so many fandoms in the catalog, there is something for everyone, it brings back nostalgia from our childhood or just bringing home characters that we love and the great community of fans and collectors.

One of my favorite Funko memories is after I started collecting, I got a lot of people in my family into collecting as well, my brother started collecting anime Pops!, and my father started collecting Disney figures. My 5-year old nephew saw me taking pictures of Pops! for the Funko challenges and he started doing that too. I love how it brought my entire family so much joy.

Another one would be winning the Funko Photo-A-Day Challenge last year in August. My Instagram account is @jose.Roberto_pr."
