What Funko lines do you collect? How many pieces are in your collection?
I have over 2000 pieces between all the lines. I haven't counted in a couple years! It's basically everything. Started with Wobblers and currently love Vynl. I can't wait to see what else that line has in store. Those cereal ad icons are amazing! Also looking forward to any Pop! and Dorbz versions of Funko originals. I love old school Funko. 8-bit Pop! also holds a special place in my heart.
How long have you been a collector?
The year 2000.
What are your favorite fandoms?
Scott Pilgrim, 8 bit games, Star Wars, ad icons and mascots, the Baltimore Orioles and, well, Funko!
What was your first Funko item?
A red suit Bone Daddy Wacky Wobbler.
What is your favorite Funko piece in your collection?
My absolute favorite piece is my Dick Tracy Wacky Wobbler prototype. I hunted that one for over a decade. I was also gifted a 1 of 1 color reject Holiday Boba Fett from Brian which will never leave my collection.
Tell us your favorite Funko story!
My favorite Funko story was way back in 2004 when I went to my first SDCC. There was no official Fundays scheduled for that year, however it was my birthday! They called it Swobobafest and a group of 40 Funatics all went to Dick's Last Resort for dinner and drinks. To my surprise, Mike Becker and the Funko crew show up! Mike tossed me a Freddy Funko Circus Punk, Box of Fun and a customized Swobobafest Super Dick Tracy they made for me! It was a super fun night that I'll never forget!
