When and how did you first learn about Funko?
My brother (@msoto1183) is huge into horror films and has been his whole life. Back in 2015 he started collecting and I have been alongside him in his collection journey so we both started around the same time.

Why are you a fan of Funko products?
I'm a fan because there's so many of them that Funko has appealed to the masses. It doesn't matter if you're 8 or 80 years old; there's a Funko product for you!

What are some of your favorite pop culture fandoms outside of Funko?
Huge fan of anything car related and fashion related. I personally collect sneakers and often put in raffles to win exclusive ones. Anything car related I'm there and want to photograph it.

What do you love about pop culture?
I love that no matter who you are and what walk of life you come from pop culture is so diverse that everyone can come together for the same purpose. I've seen so many cases where pop culture has brought people together and allowed so many to express themselves freely.

How do you display your Funko products and other collectibles?
They are displayed based off the genre and the movie/show/subject they came from. Both in and out of the box depending on condition of the box.

What videogames/TV shows/podcasts/albums are you currently watching/listening to/playing?
Call of Duty, Need for Speed, Chicago PD, The Good Place, Grey's Anatomy, Schitt's Creek, Pokémon. A variety of albums currently so it's hard to pinpoint because it's a little bit of everything across the genres.

Do you have a favorite memory related to Funko or Funko products?
My favorite memory was when I found a Pennywise Chase at a local Walgreens and gave it to my brother. He didn't believe me until I gave it to him, and then I tried my luck again at another one across town and found a second Chase. Needless to say, we were both happy since they were my first Chases in the wild!

Second, when him and I first started taking photos. I doubted my ability to capture the Pops! in the natural elements and when we finally edited them and reviewed them the outcome was awesome!

When did you first develop your love of photography?
When I was in high school back in 2009 I took a photography class. And my teacher trusted me with her personal DSLR (Nikon D3100) and since then I fell in love with photography!

How long have you been a freelance photographer for?
I've been a freelance photographer for about nine years and can't wait for the future!!

What are your favorite things to photograph?
My favorite things to photograph are people, cars, fashion (specifically sneakers) and more recently Funko Pops!

What inspired your Instagram handle and the name of your photography business?
My father owns the name (Second To None) and with his permission let me use the name for my business and it also honors him because he always inspired me to be the best person I could be.

What advice do you have for other Funko fans interested in photographing and sharing their collection online?
Above all have fun and let your mind wander! Keep pushing forward with your imagination and never let anyone tell you how to think! The image is unique to you and keep taking pictures! Never doubt yourself and don't be scared to network for help and/or ideas.

What was your first Funko product?
It was X-Men Cyclops.

Is there anything you'd like to add?
I would like to add that my brother has a majority of the Funko Pops! and we collaborate on how to take photos of them as well as collect. We genuinely enjoy collecting and photographing these awesome collectibles and would love the opportunity to continue providing content for Funko!
