What Funko lines do you collect? How many pieces are in your collection?
I collect anything that is of my favorite characters, whether Funko or otherwise. I only have about 250 special pieces, I usually don't finish lines.
How long have you been a collector?
Avid collector since 2011.
What are your favorite fandoms?
Marvel, DC, Star Wars, random characters from other fandoms.
What was your first Funko item?
Iron Man MKI Wacky Wobbler and OG Aquaman.
What is your favorite Funko piece in your collection?
I love my protos and autographs, but my favorite is definitely my custom of me as Chirrut Îmwe from my best friend‘s late wife, Andrea.
Tell us your favorite Funko story!
I have so many. Funko is family to me.
I've been there for countless Fundays, the HQ grand opening, Making Fun Hollywood premiere, Funkast 100th, just to name a few! I've become good friends with some of the designers, one is even my cosplay partner in crime! I met my best friend, Aaron, through the local Seattle collector group and he took me to my first Fundays where I actually met the love of my life, Martin!
Through Funko, I've met people from all over the world who share common interests, who would do anything for me, and vice versa. The connections are definitely the most important aspect to me.
