The year is almost over and we're excited to feature more Funatics that make our Funko Family so fun and special to us! Please give a warm welcome to:

Matt Marriott

When and how did you first learn about Funko?

"Back in 2020, my wife bought me my first ever Funko, which was Jack and his house from The Nightmare Before Christmas as a congratulations on new job present. From that moment on, I really caught the bug!"

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"My main lines are The Simpsons, Marvel, DC, Demon Slayer, Horror Pops!, and of course, The Nightmare Before Christmas."

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"I love the whole feeling of nostalgia. Each time I buy a pop, it makes me feel like a kid again and it is such a great feeling. I adore taking photos of my Funko's and sharing them with fellow collectors on social media.

My favourite Funko memory was a live Instagram stream I did with my Funko Buddies at the time. We did a mystery box battle, and I managed to pull one of the top hits, which was Blue Crystal Heisenberg from Breaking Bad. None of us could believe it!"

Anything additional you'd like to share?

"I started my account for fun, but the relationships I built with people all across the globe, for the mutual love of Funko has been life changing.

I have made some incredible friends and been able to help people at a time where COVID completely isolated us from the outside world.

I want to thank everyone I have had a connection with for bringing a smile to my face everyday."

Melody Tang

When and how did you first learn about Funko?

"I started officially collecting in 2015. I had seen Funko Pops! in bookstores and just knew I was going to be a collector—I was just waiting for the perfect first Funko which ended up being Marty McFly from Back to the Future."

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"What don't I collect?!

My collection consists of Stranger Things, Disney, Harry Potter, Marvel, Schitt's Creek, Attack On Titan, Demon Slayer, Lord of the Rings, Dune, The Mummy, Once Upon A Time, and some other miscellaneous Pops!."

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"I am a big fan of a lot of things. Whenever I obsess about a show or movie or book series I REALLY obsess and just want to bury myself in that respective world and characters. The joy of Funko Pops! is that they embody what a fan loves about a series so well and it becomes a tangible piece that you can carry with you forever!

The beauty of Funko is that there truly is something for everyone. I love gifting Funko Pops! to friends who don't collect and the look on their face whenever they unwrap their present and see a character who has meant so much to them is indescribable."

Elias Crowder

When and how did you first learn about Funko?

"I heard about Funko the same way that I'm sure many do—seeing them in store. I got my first Funko Pop! in late 2014; I got a Heisenberg, a dead Gus Fring, and Darth Vader. Things took off quickly after that, as I collected a lot, but especially Star Wars!"

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"I collect Star Wars, Marvel, some DC, and Movies! My favorite fandom is Star Wars, I own almost the entire Blue Box Collection (#1-56), except for the Shadow Trooper and the original Flocked Chewbacca. I have a lot of characters from the prequels, sequels, and the shows, but nowhere near as complete. My favorite Marvel character is Captain America, and I have nearly every Pop! from the MCU. Batman is my favorite DC character, and Batman: The Animated Series Line is one my favorite sets overall (I'd love to see another wave!!!!)

I collect several Funko lines. My favorite are Pops!, but I have a lot of love for the mystery minis and the Funko Soda lines."

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"I think Funko does a really great job with catering to fans of every type; there's literally some type of Funko product that can appeal to everyone.

Not a specific memory, but my girlfriend, now wife, used to go on little Funko hunts every few Saturdays in the first few years of collecting. We drove all over town, hitting up Toys R Us, FYE, Hot Topic, Walmart, Target, GameStop, etc. It was fun to spend time together going around from store to store sharing in an activity we enjoyed together.
2022 was a great Funko year for me, as I was able to go to my first FUNDAYS AND Fright Night. I had a lot of fun being at these events and meeting fellow collectors."

Anything additional you'd like to share?

"I have a toy photography account on IG @funko_poptography_89 (I've included a few photos). I enjoy taking pictures for the #FunkoPhotoADayChallenge and interacting with the community."

Diane Bryan

When and how did you first learn about Funko?

"First learned about Pops! from Disney Movie Insiders when I got Dancing Groot with my reward points in 2015 then I bought GOT Ghost on Amazon. I decided to only get some of the cute ones. LOL. Then I found Mulder and Scully, Animaniacs, Sesame Street…now 1600+ Pops! later Funko is still making cute ones! And some that are just too cool."

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"I collect Pops!, SODA figures and Paka Paka plus Loungefly bags and pins. But I'm a collector so I do have the odd Dorbz, Pez and Plush. Too many fandoms - I love Disney, Star Wars, DC Comics, Marvel, Godzilla, Scooby, Hello Kitty, favorite actors like Benedict Cumberbatch and Mads Mikkelsen and of course Cats even if it's anime or a video game that I've never heard of. (Please make the rest of the Aristocats. They are my all-time favorite!)"

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"I'm amazed by the Funko artists that can bring a character to life and it still looks like a Pop!. I also love all the fan outreach on social media. The photo a day challenges are so fun! I still haven't won but I love seeing everyone's creativity.

As for my favorite Funko memory, it's this right here, being chosen as a Funatic of the Week. I don't have as many followers as most so this is amazing! Thank you!"

Anything additional you'd like to share?

"My brother helps fuel my collection and has started to send surprise packages from Books a Million. So far, I haven't gotten any dupes. It's pretty fun like a mystery box. @littlebird_db on IG and Twitter"
