Funko Joins Anime Expo 2025: Everything You Need to Know

Ahoy, anime fans! Exciting news is on the horizon – we’re making our first-ever appearance at Anime Expo 2025! We can’t wait to meet all of our passionate anime aficionados in person to discuss your favorite characters, story arcs, and of course… the collectibles. Here’s everything you need to know about visiting our booth and capturing those most-wanted treasures!

Anime Expo is taking place from July 3-6, 2025, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

All Anime Expo attendees must purchase a badge for entry. Find more information about pricing and ticket information on the convention’s official website.

Entry to the Funko booth at Anime Expo is separate from general convention tickets. You’ll want to have your convention badge ready to make this process as smooth as possible. Stay tuned for more information on how to join the line to purchase exclusive Funko collectibles! 

We know that sometimes collectibles aren’t just a want – they’re a need. Here’s what to know about getting your hands on our bounty of convention exclusives! 

First things first: Price points will vary for our exclusive collectibles. Select releases will include a UV Premium POP! Protector to keep your Anime Expo collectibles in pristine condition for years to come. 

Visiting the Funko booth does not guarantee attendees any specific items at the Funko booth. Due to limited availability, items may sell out by the time fans reach the front of the line. 

All Funko account holders can purchase these exclusives online. When beginning the check-out process, you may be prompted to enter a queue that allows fans to complete their orders on a first-in, first-out basis. 

Online purchase quantities for Anime Expo 2025 will be limited for the first 24 hours. Fans purchasing multiple items will need to add items to their cart from each individual product page. Items in your cart are not guaranteed for checkout — just like our in-person booths, items may sell out before completing the checkout process. 

Inventory quantities are limited and will sell out quickly. For a smooth checkout experience, we recommend creating or logging into your Funko account in advance and pre-saving your credit card and shipping information to your account. Express checkout options will not be accepted.

• Plan ahead! Collectibles often sell out quickly. If you’re attending Anime Expo in person, arrive early and be prepared for lines. If shopping online, log in to your account in advance and pre-save your checkout information. 
• Stay informed. Follow the official Funko and Anime Expo social media accounts for the latest information on product releases, booth locations, and day-of announcements. 
• Budget accordingly. Exclusive collectibles can be pricier than our standard releases. Make sure you have allocated funds if you plan to purchase these items.
