Funko Joins SDCC 2026: Everything You Need to Know

Hey there, Funko fans! We’re gearing up for another great year at San Diego Comic Con. We can’t wait to celebrate our favorite fandoms with you, and we’ve packed this year’s convention with tons of fun surprises only available at the Funko booth. Read on for everything you need to know about visiting Funko, Loungefly, and Mondo at SDCC 2026!

SDCC will take place from July 22-26, 2026, at the San Diego Convention Center. Remember, you need a badge to attend! If you don’t have a badge for SDCC, you will not be allowed entry. 

Looking to drop by? We’ll be at Booth #5341 with tons of exciting in-person experiences you’ll only find at the show! As always, we’re bringing our most popular convention exclusive collectibles along with us, including show-only drops that you won’t find anywhere else.

Loungefly convention exclusives are now being sold at the Funko booth. You’ll also want to dive into the Mondo booth (Booth #5137) to discover their newest treasures.

Plus, get your hands on our most popular collectibles only available at SDCC! Select SDCC exclusives will also be available online at Funko.com and at select retail partners. More details to come!

Joining us in person? Here’s how to enter the Funko booth at San Diego Comic Con 2026: 

Step 1: Apply for booth entry through the SDCC Exclusives Portal. 

Register for a chance to visit the Funko booth, where you can purchase exclusive items at the convention. The SDCC Exclusives Portal is open to badge holders beginning Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Booth entry selection is random, as per SDCC Exclusive Portal policy. 

Step 2: Wait for booth entry notifications. 

Once the SDCC Exclusives Portal window closes on Thursday, July 16, 2026, guests will be notified if they have been awarded a secured time slot to visit the Funko booth.

After the last session of each day, the Funko booth will be open to any visitors who do not have a booth entry slot. Check back for more information soon!

Access to the Funko booth does not guarantee the availability of exclusive convention items. All collectibles are available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Exciting surprises await at the Funko booth! To celebrate the upcoming launch of POP! Mystery, fans at SDCC are invited to experience our new collections in person. Discover unexpected surprises, step into the mystery, and be among the first to celebrate this exciting new addition to the POP! lineup. Here's how to register for this can't-miss SDCC activity: 

First, find a buddy – you'll need a partner to experience POP! Mystery. Next, you’ll join a virtual queue that will go live at 9 AM each morning of SDCC. Keep an eye on our socials or visit the Funko booth at SDCC for a link to register each morning! When your time slot appears, you'll get a text to return to the POP! Mystery line at the Funko booth to start your adventure. 

The number of fans able to participate each day is limited, so keep an eye on Funko's social media platforms for the daily link to get in on the fun! 

Please note: Joining the virtual POP! Mystery queue does not guarantee admission. Fans will be required to sign a release and liability waiver. Funko reserves the right to alter or close the queue at any time.

Can’t make it to the show? No worries! Select SDCC exclusives will be available to purchase on Funko.com. All convention exclusives will use our new credit card pre-authorization process. Read up on the details of pre-authorized purchase drawing entries on the blog!

Pre-authorization drawing entries begin Monday, July 20, 2026. Once the drawing entry window closes, randomly selected winners from the pool of entries will be notified, and their credit cards will automatically be charged for the SDCC exclusive items they have pre-authorized for purchase. 

Any remaining inventory for SDCC exclusive items will be added to Funko.com the morning of July 24, 2026, after our pre-authorization purchase drawings take place. You’ll want to enter those drawings for the best chance of receiving our SDCC exclusives before they sell out!
