What is your first Funko collectible, and where do you display it?

My first Funko collectible was the Ludo Funko Pop! from the film Labyrinth. He is displayed in a cabinet in my living room among my other favorite treasures.

Is there a special story/memory behind your first Funko collectible?

Labyrinth is my favorite movie since I was a child. I have it entirely memorized from start to finish. My twelve-year-old dog is named Ludo (though he doesn’t resemble the giant orange puppet in any way), and a friend gifted me the Ludo Pop! for my birthday seven years ago. She and I share our love for Labyrinth and even dressed as Sarah and Jareth, the Goblin King for Halloween in college. Labyrinth has been a part of my life ever since I can remember, so having one of my favorite characters immortalized on my shelf brings me joy on a daily basis. 

How does this Funko Pop! help inspire your work?

Ludo reminds me that everyone has a passion, affinity, or fandom that means something special to them. In my work on our social channels, I try to keep that in mind when creating content that will resonate with people like this Pop! resonated with me. Through our Funko community, I love seeing the connections people build through their collections and shared interests, and that inspires me and reminds me of the “why” we do what we do at Funko.
