Funko’s donation of $10 per purchase of this Pop! goes to RIVET an organization that funds and amplifies the work of young people to bring about youth-led social change by partnering with brands, influencers, and NGOs.

Each exclusive flying Pop! Captain Planet box highlights the work of Pranav Joy, who helped develop a prototype for an AI-embedded trashcan to increase recycling rates. Pranav Joy, an engineer from India, is a RIVET grant recipient and brand ambassador.

Exclusive flying Pop! Captain Planet is the fourth vinyl figure created for the partnership between RIVET and Funko. Past Funko and RIVET Pops! With Purpose vinyl figures include Pop! Yara Flor, Pop! Spock, and Pop! SpongeBob SquarePants. Funko’s most recent collaboration focuses on environmental sustainability with the Captain Planet Pop!, which brings pop culture and cause together.

Pops! With Purpose is a part of the Funko Cares Program, a charity initiative that gives back to the community through both monetary and product donations. In addition to RIVET, Funko Cares has partnered with Make-A-Wish®, ASPCA, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Operation Homefront, and more.

Through the initial partnership with RIVET, Funko’s donation has funded over 1,000 youth-led projects around the world.

This campaign will last no longer than a year, and the minimum contribution guaranteed to RIVET from this product is $50,000.
