It seems to be the year of the supernatural television reboot. Charmed will be making its second debut in October, Sabrina the Teenage Witch is now The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina with a Netflix debut in October and Joss Whedon's seven-season masterpiece Buffy the Vampire Slayer was recently added to the list.

Since news of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot first broke in July, speculation, doubt, criticism and delight from fans have been intense. So far, we basically know nothing: casting has yet to be announced, there's no word on a release date or even a rough idea of what the plot might be. Whatever your perspective on the reboot, this pop culture haiku series is lovingly dedicated to the characters who made the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer into something that prompted Robert Moore of PopMatters to write, “TV was not art before Buffy, but it was afterwards.”
