What is your first Funko Pop! or collectible that you bought, and where do you keep it?

My first Funko Pop! was Joel from The Last of Us. When I first started on the team, I was told that I needed to decorate my desk. Right away, I went straight to grabbing Joel. Currently, he sits on my monitor with Ellie from The Last of Us 2 and Nairobi from Money Heist (La Casa de Papel).

Is there a special story or memory behind your first Funko?

When I first started gaming, all I would play was first-shooter games like Call of Duty or Halo. But a friend randomly recommended that I play The Last of Us. Playing TLOU really opened up my world to trying out new games and exploring many new worlds. When TLOU2 came out, nothing hit closer to home than when they called out my hometown. I love being able to look at the Pop! on my desk, as it reminds me of my love for gaming every day.

How does collectible inspire your work? 

Knowing how much joy this Pop! brings me every day, it inspires me to develop and provide that little extra detail for all our collectors. I hope the products that I develop will bring someone as much joy as this one has brought me!
