I collect Funko Pops! and Mystery Minis.
I have 57 pieces in my collection so far.
How long have you been a collector?
About three years.
What are your favorite fandoms?
Harry Potter, Disney (especially Nightmare Before Christmas and Alice in Wonderland), Golden Girls, and Universal Monsters.
What was your first Funko item?
My first Funko was the Queen of Hearts (live action). I received it for my birthday since I have an ever-growing collection of all things Alice in Wonderland.
What is your favorite Funko piece in your collection?
My favorite Funko piece is Barb from Stranger Things!
Tell us your favorite Funko story!
When Stranger Things first came out, I had a lot of people (including complete strangers) tell me how much I looked like Barb. I subbed at a high school once and students kept wanting to take a picture with me because of my uncanny resemblance. At the time, I had short, auburn hair and wore glasses in a similar style to hers, so I was getting stopped constantly and asked if I watched the show. I hadn't watched it, but I knew why they were asking me. I decided afterwards to add the Funko version of Barb to my collection so I could have my own mini-me! ...but I still haven't watched the show.
