When and how did you first learn about Funko?

"Andrew and I won an auction for a storage locker and in the process of cleaning it out, we found a Chewbacca Funko Pop! I didn't know what a Funko Pop! was, but luckily, Andrew did. He had also tried to keep me away from them because he knew I would lose my mind over it all… and he was right! Chewbacca's box was all mangled, but he still sits proud, out of box, protecting the collection."

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"Since it's both of our tastes, it varies a bit but the main categories are anime, Disney, and cartoons. I personally have a soft spot for the diamond variants, so we usually go for that version, if it's available. I also love the Loungefly lines! Sometimes I just can't resist, especially when it fits into the Pop! collection so well!"

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"Funko really has something for everyone and I love that I can find a Funko Pop! for every like and phase I've had in my life! From my childhood (Disney, The Little Mermaid, SpongeBob SquarePants, Scooby-Doo!) to teen years (Supernatural, Music Pops!), and to now, as an adult (way too many to mention). I also love that Funko has been a great bonding point for Andrew and me. Discussing drops, going to events, and Funko shoots have all become big parts of our relationship. One of my favorite Funko memories is actually because I was trying to get a King Bradley (FMA: Brotherhood) for part of Andrew's birthday present. I got him in the mail and noticed his eye looked different than in the picture… That's how I discovered what a chase was! I was lucky enough to get a chase King Bradley from a 1 Pop! order and it was such an awesome feeling!"

Anything additional you'd like to share?

"I have never been a collector, so all of this is fairly new and crazy to me, but I absolutely love it! The Funko memories and the amazing friendships I've gained from this community have just been next level. Thank you, Funko, for introducing me to a whole new world and things I definitely NEED! Our Instagram account is @funkinadventures."

When and how did you first learn about Funko?

"I first learned about Funko from a good friend of mine. After seeing his collection, I immediately looked though every single Pop! available at the time and chose 10 to start out! I had just gotten into Game of Thrones so the Daenerys Riding Drogon Rides Pop! was a must have for my budding collection. Now my girlfriend and I share a collection of about 500 Funko Pops!, Dorbz, Wobblers, and other Funko lines!"

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"I collect many different lines. I'm not a completionist for any fandoms, but I do have a few that I have more of than others. Oh wait! I am a completionist for my unofficial Super Smash Bros line. Although Funko does not have the official SSBU license, I have one of each character from SSBU that Funko has made from their other licenses! My favorite Funko fandoms are definitely Harry Potter, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Pokémon. Although, I like to get at least one or two Pops! from each fandom I'm interested in to represent the rest of the line. As far as non-Pops! go, I also love Paka Paka Soup Troops and Toilet Ninjas!"

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"The reason why Funko first appealed to me and still holds a place in my heart is because of the feelings of nostalgia I get when I see my favorite Pops! on the shelves. It makes me think of the first time I read and watched Harry Potter, it reminds me of the times I spent watching Avatar with my dear cousin, and it reminds me of the feelings of the unadulterated sense of wonder I experienced when I was a child discovering the magic of this world through movies and books.

Now I get to share these feelings with all my friends and family. Whenever I have guests over, I like to play a little game I call 'Pop of the Night'. Before leaving for the evening, each guest chooses a Funko item from the shelves that they felt a connection to, and they share why they felt that connection. Through this game we have been able to share some of our most precious moments and we have been able to bond over the sense of childlike wonder that Pops! remind us of.

My favorite Funko memories have been and always will be the friends I have made along the way. Whether it be through social media, Funko photography, the boards, comic cons, or hangouts with The United Funko Family I have met more amazing friends through Funko than I ever could have imagined."

Any additional details you'd like to add?

"I also have to mention how Funko has helped me develop the photography skills that I never knew I had. I started out simply taking pictures on my iPhone 6 and now I am confidently using my Nikon and photoshop to take pictures of my friends and family at events! Thank you for this wonderful outlet of creativity!

My Instagram account is @Phunko_Fotography and my username on the Funko Boards is "Nis_Chac".

Finally, I am honored that you chose me to be Funatic of the Week! It really means a lot to me as Funko has been such an integral part of my life for many years now! Cheers!"

When and how did you first learn about Funko?

"I first learned about Funko from my husband Chris, who started collecting back in 2014. He started small with a couple of Pops! to have on his desk at work. As his collection grew (including gifts from me and our kids), I decided to pick up some Pops! for myself. My first Funko Pops! were of the Disney princesses Tiana and Rapunzel, who are my absolute favorites!"

What Funko lines and fandom(s) do you collect?

"I mainly collect Funko Pops! with a smaller collection of SODAS, Pocket Pops!, and t-shirts. My favorite lines are My Hero Academia, Scooby-Doo!, Disney, Marvel, Demon Slayer, and Freddy Funko. I also love smaller lines that bring back memories from growing up like Saved by the Bell, Power Rangers, Clueless, Twilight, and Descendants."

What do you love about Funko? Do you have a favorite Funko memory?

"I love the wide variety of interests and fandoms that you can find in Funko products. It makes it possible for so many people to find and collect what is special to them.

I have two Funko memories currently tied for my favorite. The first was flying out to California early for our family vacation to Disneyland. My husband, our kids and I were able to visit the Funko Hollywood store, hit up so many amazing photo ops, and make Pop! versions of ourselves. It was such a cool experience to customize and take home our own Pops!

My other favorite memory comes from taking part in the monthly Funko Photo A Day Challenge. I started the IG account @ohlordypops and love getting creative with our Pops! based on the themes. It is so inspiring to see all of the photos taken by other collectors in the community. I still can't believe that I had the honor of winning in July for the On My Bookshelf prompt!"

Any additional details you'd like to add?

"Collecting Funko has really become something fun for our whole family. We even converted our guest bedroom into my husband's home office so he would have more space to display his collection. Our kids love opening the SODAS to see if they can pull a chase!"

Thank you for sharing your Funko experience with the larger Funko Family.
