An execution looms on the horizon, and exclusive POP! Portgas D. Ace is on his knees.  

Background: Ace is imprisoned on Marineford after his battle with Blackbeard. The crescent-shaped island serves as the base for the World Government Navy, charged with ending Ace’s life and ridding the world of pirates. Monitors will broadcast the execution to the people living nearby. One-hundred thousand of the highest-ranking marines, three navy admirals, and the Seven Warlords of the Sea guard Ace and the Marineford Bay. Lookout ships, scouting for Whitebeard—a father-figure to Ace—have already been sunk. Tensions are high when Ace is led to the scaffold, near the Bay, and forced to kneel. There, it’s announced that he is the son of the famous pirate, Gol D. Roger and must be killed. Will Luffy save his brother in time? Will Whitebeard and his crew show up?
